Our Faith

We believe:

  • There is only one true God who is the eternal King, Creator and Redeemer of all that is. He is perfectly holy, just, loving and truthful. He has revealed Himself to be eternally self-existent - one being in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. They are the same in substance, equal in power and glory.

  • Mankind was created in the image of God to know and enjoy Him, yet we willfully rejected the Lordship, glory of God and His Kingdom for which we were intended. Because of this, sickness, death and judgment entered the world and now creation experiences the effects and consequences of sin. We also entered into Satan’s Kingdom and became separated from God.

  • The Lord Jesus Christ, the one and only Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin, Mary, and is God's Anointed One, empowered by the Holy Spirit to inaugurate God's Kingdom on earth. He was both fully human and fully deity. He was crucified for our sins, died, was buried, resurrected and ascended into heaven, and is now alive today, in the presence of God the Father and in His people.

  • We are saved by God's grace, through faith in Jesus Christ. Anyone can be restored to fellowship with God through repenting, believing and receiving Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. The Holy Spirit convicts, regenerates, justifies, sanctifies and adopts us as we enter the Kingdom of God as His sons and daughters; princes and princesses.

  • The victorious redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides freedom from the power of the enemy - sin, lies, sickness and torment.

  • The Kingdom of God was Jesus’ main message; it is within us, is here and now (“already but not yet”) and we as believers are to seek first His Kingdom and actively take part in it on earth as a present day reality – not just a future hope. The Kingdom of God is to permeate through to the ends of the earth, and that the fullness of the Kingdom will come only when Jesus returns.

  • The one holy universal Church, the Family of God, to which all true believers belong. God's purpose is the establishment of Kingdom in community - a reconciled people who enjoy fellowship with Him, with each other, and with His creation. The church/family of God is to be an expression of and vehicle for the Kingdom of God.

  • We can use the keys of the Kingdom to bring the things of heaven to earth to bring transformation and revival.

  • Salvation is the gift of God to man. We are saved by grace through faith in Christ and Christ alone.

  • Water baptism demonstrates a believer’s identification with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

  • The Holy Spirit is our Comforter and Teacher. He guides us in all areas of our lives. He also fills us, empowers us, and blesses us with spiritual gifts including healing, prophecy, word of knowledge, miracles, speaking in tongues and many more.

  • Communion brings us to the remembrance of Jesus Christ’s death on the cross to take away our sins.

  • We are ALL called to preach the gospel of the Kingdom of God and invite others to join the family of God.

  • The Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again, just as He promised. The Kingdom of God will then be fully realised.

  • The sovereignty of God in Creation, Revelation, Redemption and Final Judgment

  • In eternal life for those within the family of God; eternal damnation for those outside of the family of God.
